Food waste campaigners from the Real Junk Food Project have unveiled their a new warehouse near Leeds. The warehouse is full of food that was intercepted from the big chains, and is out of date. Although the food may be out of date, it's still good to eat, and customers are allowed to pay what they want.

Need one of these in every town. Homeless could actually buy enough food.

But the problem is restaurants will end up buying everything there.....

This is a good idea, the amount of food that we westerners throw out that is perfectly edible (either for being a little old, or just looking a little odd) is staggering.
