A 27 year old police officer whose name has not been public confronted her childhood trauma by arresting her childhood abuser. Erlis Joseph Chaisson sexually abused her when she was young, so she became a police officer and at 27 years old she was able to hunt him down and bring him to justice in the state of Texas.

She should have never been involved in his apprehension. That crosses the line
between duty and vigilante. Any evidence would have to be considered
planted or tainted. He stands a better chance of being acquitted this way.
Which would victimize her all over again. This is not heroic. This not justice.
This is, however, very self serving and foolish.

AC didn't tell the whole story, particularly why she was a critical part of the investigation.

"She became a cop. And in 2014, more than 15 years after the abuse, she arranged a meeting with him and secretly recorded their conversation.

She had a recorder stashed away in her bra, capturing the entire traumatic conversation.

On that two-hour tape, he described to her, in detail, what he did to her. He blames her for it. He tells her she wouldn’t understand because she doesn’t possess male genitalia. He praises himself by saying that at least, 'I kept you a virgin, didn’t I?'

Most importantly, he confessed. Over and over and over again."

I'm surprised that I haven't heard of this. This happened practically in my extended neighborhood.

Tell me about your qualifications for judging how law enforcement does their job?

Im pretty sure the answer will be none as you could not be more incorrect.

I thought Justice in Texas meant shooting him. Kind of a let down.
