I think that as we age we perceive time faster because from the age of 1 it only takes 1 year to live our entire life over again. From the age of 5 it takes to the age of 10 to live our life over again. At that point one year is only one-tenth of our life. By the time we are 30, each year is only 1/30th of our life. When you are 64, as I am, each year is merely 1/64th of your entire life. With each year being a smaller part of our lives it seems to go by faster as we age.
