Per months yes. I am portuguese. My grand mother (the only still alive) can barely pay her medics. At 74, she still going on "the land" to make her own vegetables, she have a few chickens, ducks, rabbits, she is free to go or ask someone to go at my parents forest domain to chop wood for the winter...
I love my grandma. She was allways nice to me. I am going to travel in a month to see her before she collapse. I live 2000km away. At her age, she can go at anytime, and it makes me sad..
The only picture I have in my possession that I really love, it's a generation picture of me, my daughter, mother and both grandparents, made a few months before my grandfather leave us. If she last enough, I will make another one in October with her, my mom, and my son, that she hadn't met yet..
All thoose labor years, to finally, just survive...
