NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter started its mission in 2006 and NASA recently released some new photos that were taken by the orbiter. There's still so much that we don't know about Mars but luckily pictures like this help the human race learn more about the incredible red planet.

A possible landing site for the ExoMars mission, which the European Space Agency is running.
