The thing about some religion is that they are cults. This I've learned from other people traveling the world and then doing documentaries.
The head scarf, or hijab, is worn by most women in muslim countries, less they be seen as "prey or prostitutes", not only because they want to but out of necessity.
However, if you traveled the world some 30-40 years ago this was not the case but if you would travel today you would be able to see the difference.
