I fully agree, though she is not the Copilot.
Copilots wear 3 bars on their shoulders. which means Maria is the Co-pilot, otherwise she should have 4 bars on her shoulders and she should occupy the left hand seat of the airplane.

2 bars indicates a first officer, 3 bars a senior first officer. Both are declared copilot when sitting on the right. Or for long haul flights that warrant two co-pilots.
