A little too invasive for me, but some clever ideas used throughout.
For something a bit less heavy handed http://www.mini-itx.com/projec
ts/pomgolian/ is a similar idea usung a mini-itx motherboard.
Minimal mods, superb effect, and worth a look if this took your fancy.

why not just get an electric guitar or an electric acoustical guitar. I can't immagine plying this thing other than in a small room as a solo instrument because of those little speakers.
