These 20 posters show what it was if the world were a village of 100 people.
Very interesting.

Why not just say "99% of people in the world etc" instead the stupid "if the world was a village of 100 people" ?!!

Oh yeah let's lump together all non-whites together. They all look the same anyway.
Let's lump all the asians into one nationality. India and China are the same. Why don't they lump together europe, america and australia? It's all white nationality right?
Fucking pushing agendas through faked infographics.

Randomguy, I think the idea of the 'village of 100 people' was to better clarify the distinctions between groups.
Just look at the foods one, as reidar suggests above, and I think it shows the actualities of our lives better than a simple percentage or typical chart.
A percentage is just a number after all, and sometimes we need to see the big/small divide differently to fully appreciate it.
And Zee, I can see the query about putting all non-whites in one group, but in our media-led world where the dominant colour is white, perhaps we need reminding that they are just a small part of the populace, not the higher number. To have split the non-whites up may have diluted that message, although detail would have been good on a following map perhaps.

You'd think this was made by someone whith an open mind. Go and look at religions. Jews are named inside "others"? That just does not make sense, sorry.
