If you grew up in the 2000s, there's a good chance you did some of or all of these really embarrassing things.

Asking literally everyone you saw, “Whassup?”

1 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

It’s 2016, nothing is up any more.

Getting your capri pant on.

2 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

Imagine trying to get Rihanna to wear this today. She would literally end you.

Spending every night glued to BBM, talking mostly to people you barely even knew.

3 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

Kids today probably don’t even know what a Blackberry is.

Really, really f*cking terrible *ironic* T-shirts.

4 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

These were never actually cool, but far too many people thought they were.

Tinted sunglasses, as worn (literally always) by Anastacia.

5 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

These should be “Left Outside Alone” in 2002.

Wearing multiple popped collars, because one just wasn’t cool enough.

6 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

Nowadays, zero popped collars is DEFINITELY cool enough.

Rocking out with your Croc out.

7 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

CROCS WITH SOCKS. WHY?

Those jeans that had a seam down the front, which were a thing for some reason.

8 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

Two seams is enough seams in 2016.

Torturing yourself with corset tops.

9 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

Because obviously the best kind of fashion is the kind that makes you feel desperately uncomfortable at all times.

Completing basically any outfit with your Von Dutch trucker cap.

10 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

Mesh is yet to make a comeback in 2016.

Buying only clothes with rhinestones on them, or just sticking them to everything you already had.

11 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

Particularly your phone, most things in your room, and your own face.

Crazy Frog and his weird little penis.

12 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

Seriously, why the f*ck did this ever exist?

Choker necklaces, bad denim, body glitter… Basically everything about this picture.

13 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

Paris and Nicole really owned the ’00s.

Charity wristbands for every single cause.

14 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

You might have cared a bit about poverty, but you cared more about looking cool at school.

Carrying tiny dogs around with you in the street.

15 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

Paris: “I’m just off to walk the dog…” *picks up dog, carries it out the door, spends three hours shopping with dog in handbag, comes home*

Having a goddamn Big Mouth Billy Bass on your wall.

16 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

These were really fun to press exactly once, and then the actual worst thing in the world every other time after that.

The chunkiest wallet chains you could find.

17 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

You told your mum they were for keeping your keys safe. They were not for keeping your keys safe.

Owning a webcam, so that you could video chat with all of your school friends you had literally just spend the whole day with.

18 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

There’s something really creepy about buying a webcam in 2016.

Long-sleeved shirts under short-sleeved shirts.

19 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

Ed Sheeran tried to bring it back. He failed.

The not-so-perfect pairing of thongs and low-rise jeans.

20 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

Looks like a whale is diving into your butt.

Accidentally f*cking up your fingers with Beyblades.

21 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

Sure, they were fun, but imagine taking them to work and getting them out to play with on your lunch break.

Wearing your canvas belt so that the end bit kind of flopped down from your jeans.

22 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

Bonus points for skateboard brands and really bright colours, obviously.

Also studded belts, if you were a little more emo than skater.

23 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

So shiny. Much too shiny to wear today.

And making your eyebrows look like this.

24 24 Things That No One Wants To Admit They Did In The 2000s (24 pics)

Why? Just why?

Well I won't admit to any of those - but mainly because I didn't do/wear a single thing from this list... 54

(Wanted an appropriate :| smiley but couldn't find one, so used that dancing chap, just cos he's probably never been used by anyone before. You have a rather bizarre selection of smileys, AC...)

#6 Unfortunately, people still wear popped collars on polo t-shirts. 15 years into this fashion and they still don't see how lame they are.

This is what you get when you're a mindless drone that follows STUPID fashion ideas.

These ideas were stupid BACK THEN, not just today.
But 'trendy' people just went ahead and tried them...and now they (predictably) look even stupider.

Don't just do what the media machine tells you "is cool". Ask yourself: is that stupid? Pro Tip: if you're even asking, it probably is.
