Something about these buildings just doesn't look right.

For me most of these are just pictures of buildings. Whats special about them? If its about making your brand similar to another, (like fries king) then half the other pictures dont make sense. If its about using the 'wrong' building, most of these dont make sense.
Please explain...

These buildings were built for other means. Is it funny? I don't know.

It's new businesses taking over existing instantly-recognizable older ones, some of them even keeping parts of the original signs to save money, and turning them into something else, hoping no one will notice...
- #1 was once a Hollywood Video store, and they turned it into 'Big Woody's" (reusing some of the letters).
- #2 was a 'Days Inn' motel, now a 'Dad's Inn'.
- #3 was obviously a church
'Finestore' was a 'Firestone' tires, The Walgreen's Pharmacy was a movie theater (they even kept the marquee) and there's at least 4 Pizza Huts in there, etc.

Ah, okay, thank you! A lot of these couldnt happen in Ireland (other than reusing signs maybe ) as there are no set building styles for certain brands. Hence i was a bit confused about this post.
Thanks for explaining it!
