This house recently went on the market in Northridge which is a neighborhood in Los Angeles, CA. The house is rundown but it comes with a very high price tag of $475,000. The home is close to the California State University which is likely why the realtors are asking for so much money.

I'm not at all surprised that's what it's going for in SoCal. When I was in the home buying market there, it was shocking what they were asking for complete sh*t holes. No one's buying that place for the house, they're buying it for the land, where they'll remove the current place and build a mcmansion on the lot; one the just about fills the entire footprint of the land.

It's the chinks that are pushing a housing bubble. They don't even live in the properties they buy.
