I wouldn't call it total rubbish. It is not yet known - and we may never know - how much dark matter and the even more mysterious dark energy there is in the universe. If in large enough quantities, this could in theory slow and eventually reverse the current expansion, even given the fact that the expansion is currently accelerating.

While the caption is correct, the image is misleading. It would take a photographer many billions of years to leave earth and reach a point far enough away from our galaxy to take this picture. Therefore, the photo is a representative image; to draw an arrow and point to our "Sun" is quite inaccurate.
