#5 I don't think that a newspaper can qualify as smart.
#12 For a Sci-Fi writter, Wells didn't have the innovative type of imagionation. I mean he imagined travelling to the moon using a giant slinger and a hollow sphere.
On the other hand, Jules Verne imagined a reactor similar to the nuclear ones a century ahead of the nuclear fusion.
