A long time ago I worked in a call center. I would usually made myself a sandwich for lunch. But they were no ordinary sandwiches. I put time and effort into my food and made it good. Then my lunch started getting stolen, at first it happened once a week, then more often, until I was left hungry almost every day. I finally spoke with my supervisor and he told me there was nothing he could do because a stolen lunch had nothing to do with work.

One day I decided to find out just who the hell was stealing my lunch so I made a special sandwich. Braised chicken breast, sliced cherry tomatoes and baby spinach drizzled with garlic olive oil and topped with about half a pound of very thinly sliced habanero peppers. We had lunch in groups, I was in the second group. About halfway through the first group's lunch break one of the guys came running to the supervisor and told him there was a guy hurt in the cafeteria. I knew this was it, the moment of truth. I raced into the cafeteria right after the shift supervisor and looked on a scene that still puts a smile on my face. There was my special sandwich on the table, with a huge bite taken out of it. There were half chewed bits all over the table and floor. And there, right there at the sink was this guy with his face under the faucet, trying to put out the fire in his mouth with cool tap water. His face was very red, he was moaning and crying and trying to spit out what was left of the sandwich in his mouth. I laughed and laughed.

How about a dye pack in that box? The robber will certainly greatly appreciate a nice walk of shame, covered in unwashable tint, under the judical glances of the whole neighbourhood.

I'd put an old phone in with the gps enabled after having a chat with the local police, best way to stop it from happening again methinks.
