North Korea has a bad reputation thanks to the media but it's not as bad as it's made out to be. People in North Korea get to use smartphones and they know how to have fun just like the rest of us.

Sadly enough, Russia is turning into that too. Christian Isis controlled by the tyrant. Those pictures are a part of propaganda, but even they fail to convey the idea of good life.

Not so bad?
Ask them about the radios installed in all the homes that has propaganda transmissions every day and they have no power or volume button. And that they are not allowed to be outside the howse during those transmissions.
Ask them about how they are forced to participate to parades to honor their beloved leader and if they don't smile convincingly they are thrown in jail.
Ask them if they wok 6 days/week and an extra day as volunteeers, which sums up to 7 workdays/week.
If they contest their leader, they misteriously disappear.

If you never lived in a totalitary, opressing system, don't speak about the positives of living in those countries. Nothing compensated the lack of freedom in your own country.

WTF? This is the elite and even they are starving. Read a f*cking book (whoever put up this stupid f*cking post). If you want to know what life is really like in N. Korea, read "The Orphan Masters Son". It won a pulitzer and details real life in N. Korea. This is about enough to make me not use acidcow any longer.
