Passengers aboard this flight at Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg were startled when the landing gear broke off. The plane was attempting to take off when the landing gear broke causing the plane's wing to scrape against the runway.

It should be noted that seeing SA being in a bad light, that this incident was in fact a British Airways aircraft and not one owned by SA, only Pawnd by SA runways :D

the wing dragging doesn't bother me nearly as much as the FUEL that is stored inside of them...yikes!...
