#26, for the British, and many other peoples, the 'and' is part of the number and also how we would say it and recognise it.
Just because Americans and a few others truncate the number to, for example, a hundred forty instead of a hundred and forty does not make Late's comment wrong, or the fact shown here wrong. It is a regional variable, right and wrong in different places!

If you wish to say 'one hundred AND one', you go right ahead, but the number itself is 'one hundred one'.
