Nothing in the world can justify paying almost 2 million for a drink, that can be gone in a matter of minutes, when other people can't afford to feed their families.
What can make it so much better than another one that might still be reasonably expensive at 1 or 2 thousand for example? People who pay that much for something like that don't deserve a place in this world

#4: if I lived in Mumbai, I'd want to get as far away from the city as possible, too. Of course, moving somewhere ELSE is a cheaper option than building a $500 million tower.

#6: if that actually WAS Cf pictured, that's a dead man, so's the photographer. Look at this pic of the container built to transport ONE GRAM of Cf (about 60 cubic mm). It's so radioactive, it's used to 'jump start' nuclear reactors.

Of course, some people may say the same about you.
"How could he/she waste the money it took to pay for a computer to post crap on the internet, when there are millions of people starving. The cost of that computer could feed several families for months. Hell, you probably live comfortably in a home that could fit 6-8 families by Calcutta standards. You probably spent more on your last meal than a person in Zimbabwe makes in a week."
So why are you still posting? You should be giving away what you have to others who need it.

(Don't get me wrong, I'm not condemning you - personally, I don't care what you do with your time or money. What I'm pointing out is that envy and greed is relative, and ultimately, pointless because there's always someone worse-off than you.)

It's all about appropriateness and adequacy. There's basically nothing wrong with buying the one or the other expensive thing, however spending almost 2 million on a f*ckin beverage is pure douchyness. If you have so much spare cash - make something reasonable with it and buy yourself a 200$ bottle of Champagne. You won't taste the difference anyway...
