The person who put this list together should have gone to school. The title says "1970" but every example is quoted as "1957". It's a simple thing, but something that should be consistent.

The main thing I'm getting from this article is that the real difference between 1970 and 2015 is 2015 is spelled "2015" (fair enough tbh) but 1970 is spelled "1957" - throughout the entire piece. Rather bizarrely.

Here in Mexico, a few years ago it was normal to give a spank to kids if they did not behave correctly, and being called by the principal at school if they were disrupting the class or doing anything wrong at school, nowadays teachers get accused and obligated to pass almost 80% of their kids even if they don't study properly, we have lots of kids and guys, even at engineer degree that are absolute idiots, we say "negrito" or "negrita" as a kind salute, not as a racist word, for us it was just a word to express friendship, now we cannot say it anymore because it is considered racist, firecrackers are being confiscated, kids are not allowed to play outside, shit, and we are a developing country, i don't want to see what would happen if we grow economically, as i see it, it is as bad for you as is for us, I wish my future kids could grow up like me, playing outside, getting hurt a little, everything a kid should live
