This Baby Koala Hugged His Mother During Her Life Saving Surgery (6 pics)
This baby Koala goes by the name of Phantom and his mother was recently hit by a car on the Warrego Highway in Australia. The people at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital took them in and rushed the mother into surgery after discovering she suffered facial trauma and a collapsed lung. Phantom hugged his mother throughout the procedure as he refused to let go. The two of them are both recovering now as they rest at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital.

The mom’s lung was repaired and she is expected to fully recover
