Here's the point, if you take care of you body BOTH BEFORE AND DURING YOUR PREGNANCY you will be able to return to a relatively similar state after.

As with anything, people use traumatic experiences (yes pregnancy is a traumatic experience, not being funny here) to justify anything and everything.

The point is not to body shame, but to show that simply being pregnant is not a good enough reason to let your body go to shit. Same with college life, or a career, or an injury, etc. We are what we choose to be, time to start taking credit for our decisions and to stop looking for excuses.
