Sapphyre Johnson is a 3 year old girl from Tennessee and she had to have both of her feet amputated when she was very young. Her parents recently got her a new puppy named Lt. Dan who is missing a paw and they've become the perfect companions for one another.

When she first saw Lt. Dan, who was missing a paw, she said, “That’s my puppy. He’s just like me”

Some breeders suggested that the puppy’s breeder, Karen Riddle, put him down

“A lot of kids don’t see other children or animals that have issues like they have,” her father told the Greenville News

Those prosthetics dont look very useful, compared to a lot of other posts with people with prosthetics. Is it because they are for a kid and she will grow out of them or is it a financial issue?

Im curious because surely children deserve to be able to run and play more than anyone else...
