My Dad was a POW of the Japanese for almost 4 years. He weighed 90 pounds when he was liberated in August 1945. A typical days' rations was a bowl of rice and a fish head. Sometimes the guys got lucky and caught something eatable for extra nourishment, like a bird or cat. They worked in coal mines and built roads, repaired trucks and whatever else The Empire demanded of them. If you refused, you died. It's amazing these men survived that hell.

The Japanese death camps and experiments on human were at least as numerous as bad as the Nazis. The Japanese tried to dominate the Koreans and Chinese. Millions were killed.

#19 I watched the footage live when it happened, and saw the footage many times during training. There was an awesome display of weapons that the secret service brandished in the seconds just after the gunshots, and several minutes that followed. If you get a chance, watch the footage in slow motion from the time Reagan comes out the door until 5 minutes after the car leaves...
