I hope you americans out there realize that the oscars are a pretty worthless award and they don't even make in the top three of international annual film awards (i would have said top ten but..)

Who cares if the movies that one likes don't receive any oscar?! One still likes them.

I don't give a fuck about the Oscars since the Best Picture oscar didn't go to Independence Day (ID4), lol.

So, of the 25 movies listed here. 8 of them actually *did* win an Oscar, and two of those won more than 1 Oscar. Yet this was a list of movies that were never recognised by the Oscars?

They were "NOMINATED" ..... that indicates that they were, indeed, considered ... that's pretty significant recognition actually

Agreed. It's a very entertaining and engaging film, but I wouldn't put it even in the top 200 films of all time.
