This 5 star hotel in Egypt was abandoned in what looks like a hurry. There's no one there but every item that belonged to the hotel is still intact and still on the property. One has to wonder what happened here.

And there must be guards. Otherwise the stuff from the store and the couches in the lounge and some more stuff would be "gone" for sure...

After Mubarak's regime collapsed, the treaty between Israel and Egypt is shaky at best. This hotel looks kinda like the one we stayed at in Taba Heights on the Sinai Peninsula. If the hotel vis a vis the government, can't guarantee the safety of its guests, why would you go?
