When alcohol prohibition was in full effect moonshiners had to be very sneaky when it came to getting around. They found the perfect disguise to keep the authorities off their trail as they used cow shoes to disguise their footprints.

yeah....like that didn't get noticed. In Kentucky and Tennessee, they used "shotguns" and booby-traps, not cow hooves....

this smells of bulsht. hiding and booby tray would work just fine and the law finding these in, or around your farm, truck, or person would probably get you in a load of trouble as a sign of guilt.
