Many people thought that smoke coming from the Burj Khalifa meant it was on fire but that wasn't the case. Police shot these rumors down claiming the smoke came from clouds and fog.

Yes, clouds that stay in the same place next to a building at half the height the cloud should be at... so much more likely than smoke...
