Locals in Porthleven in Cornwall were baffled when they woke up one day to discover all of the sand on their favorite beach was gone. The only thing more shcoking than the sand disappearing is how quickly it came back.

I do not think so, saint357. Here, on the beaches of Natal, you can drive with a 4x4 on the sand to the next beach, but a week later all the sand is washed away and huge boulders blocks your way. Then it fills up again.
