it seems this poster does not know the US, where food stamps, SNAP cards, social security programs, welfare, and numerous free food outlets -not counting church and other religious programs- as well as many other subsidies amount to eating quite well. Look it up.

I live in Thailand... 14 pieces of fired tofu is not going to cost you 52.87 Baht. For 50 Baht, you could get a 500ml bottle honey lemon tea and a packet of chicken rice. If you want the equivalent of fried tofu, one stick of fried fish tofu (4 pieces per stick) is 10 Baht.
