Did You Know That Owls Can Swim Too? (7 pics)

Photographer and birder Steve Spitzer noticed this owl who had been attacked by two falcons. Steve went to go save the owl from the water but noticed that the bird just started swimming on its own. This is definitely not something you see every day.

the owl probably didn't know it could swim either until it fell in. Looks a bit shamed in the last picture.

When I was 15, I went out with a bird called Emma Stevens. She couldn't swim. :08:

The owl likely was not attacked, just ran out of a nesting area. Sometimes you don't know what you can do until you are forced to do it, or wallow in your poor fortune and parish.
