Louisa Manning was bullied for many years when she was a kid but when she grew up to be a woman, she grew up to become very beautiful. Her childhood bully noticed this when he bumped into her at college and decided he was going to ask her on a date. She accepted but the story didn't exactly have a happy ending for the bully.

12 year old Louisa Manning was bullied for years and called “manbeast” by some of her peers.

Thankfully, eight years later, Louisa is now an adult woman free from the jerks that made her life hell in middle school... or at least, that's what she thought. Last Friday, one of the boys who had contributed to the insults asked Louisa out on a date after seeing her at a university ball.

Louisa decided to accept the date, but she had bigger plans than meeting up for dinner. She arrived early to the restaurant where they'd decided to meet and gave the waitress a note to hand to the man when he arrived.

Well it seems he actually did her a favor - it was the "bullying" that made her start working on her looks.

So instead of ACTUALLY confronting her "bully" in a mature way by sitting down and having a conversation, she leaves an immature note, like she is above it all. She's just as bad as they were 8 years ago, way to be a dick!

The fact she leaves such a passive aggressive note shows she's still carrying her anger. All kids are douche bags at time. It's called growing up and learning empathy for others.

Looks to me, by the way she went out of her way to humiliate and embarrass the boy, she still has some growing to do.

Fact is the guy was 12 - 14 years old when he bullied her and she was 22 when she got 'revenge'.

I'll gladly pay you tomorrow for a hamburger I'll eat today, meaning she should have dealt with it then and not 8 years later as everyone changes over time.

so glad she matured so much as to confront the image of her pain so that he could offer her an apology. I mean, it isn't possible that he might have matured as well? Could he not be carrying guilt over being an ass for so long? Her moment of triumph only stooped her down to his 12 year old level. Good job, sweetheart.....

Sounds like he was being the same general dick kids are to each other all the time.
And, well, if it made her get control of her weight so now she's proud of how she looks, well, I wouldn't go so far as to say he did her a favor (he certainly didn't mean to), but it worked out for her.

Maybe he asked her to dinner so he could apologize to her in person for being mean to her in 8th grade.

I used to be bullied at middle school as well. And sometimes I get upset when I remember everything they said and mock about me, but I don't think I would confront my bullies, I mean, I don't need to remind them or myself how miserable they made me back then. I haven't seen any of them, but if I do, I'll probably just walk by them and continue with my life. No big deal.
