A telemarketer from AT&T interrupted this poor man's dinner so he turned the tables and made them the victims in a hilarious fashion.

when I get this kind of calls I let them speak about what they are offering, that takes no longer than 20 seconds of my time, then I gently say thanks for your call but I dont need what you are offering to me right now....and thats it, they always say thank you and end the phone call.
Remember that the people in the other end of the line are just trying to do their job the best they can and also remember that everyone have to deal with an asshole from time to time. Dont be that asshole.

hugo31,
I have rejected many telemarketing jobs because I know I will be annoying people (they annoy me - don't do what you wouldn't like done to you rule).

The only asshole is the one who takes on a job knowing that.

I'd rather clean peoples' shit than telemarket - at least you know someone is going to be grateful.

You could just say no and hang up, or reject call. That "lady" just works there and you smashed her with your assholeness. Maybe you should pay more attention to your mental condition. In normal, you should ignore this. The last sentence means you know something is wrong with you, please meet the specialist. :10:

Anyone who's ever worked in a call center knows you live for this kind of call. You're usually not allowed to hang up, and someone who puts the call down for 5 minutes is often your hero.

So keep on being assholes to call center employees, they'll thank you. Unless their the kind that you call. If you called them, don't be an asshole you'll just end up with crappy service.

Also, 10 cents a minute was from the 80's, how old is this shit you're digging up?

While I have worked as a call agent similar to this and know how frustrating this job can be, especially with this kind of calls, I sometimes do the same thing. If someone offers me something and I say no and they still continue to explain what it is, I start trolling. It's simple: Are you offering something? Did I say No? You still offering the same thing I already said no to? You get trolled.
