There will be a time when the people of a country can make weapons superior to those of the military, especially with all them drones and such. (Not counting nukes)
The goverments needs to realise that people wont stand for being exploited when they have the means to stop them. It was like that back in the medival days, where people could storm the castle and out the goverment.
Tanks and airplanes made that impossible for people recently (or extremely hard), but now you can take out a country with a couple of computer viruses and scores of drones. Goverments will once again fear the power of the people, rather than the people fearing the power of the goverment.
The way the goverment could stop that is by opening up and start fixing the country by ousting corrupt politicians, and treat them as criminals. This would be the first step down a long road to equality.
All of this applies to all countries, as all countries have corrupt politicians. And corrupt poluticians usually get sent home with a medal before getting arrested.
