5 - Mortality rate is 50%, not 90%. Used to be between 25% and 90%.

Googled ebola. Most places say 4500 dead, who said 2000 others say 500 confirmed. Its like the Iraq war. We wont know the real number until a good bit after the scare.

Gi-Joe,

Yes, note how the pharmaceutical companies are working on vacines, not cures. Curing someone offers no profit will vacinations do...

Would that be the "rich white countries" that are dumping money and people into areas infested with the disease to try to help the people there?

Fact 6: Zaire === Democratic Republic of the Congo

Zaire /zr/, officially the Republic of Zaire (French: Rpublique du Zare; French pronunciation: [za.i]), was the incarnation of the contemporary state known as the Democratic Republic of the Congo as it existed between 27 October 1971 and 17 May 1997.

So IT was in fact Zaire. Witch is the OLD name for: Democratic Republic of the Congo.
