Zdzisław Beksiński (1929-2005) was a Polish born painter who says he got the inspiration for his paintings after listening to music. It kind of makes us wonder, what the hell was this guy listening to?

In fact he and his son were listenig to some "lighter" music: The Cure, Dead Can Dance, Siouxie, Marillion.

By all accounts, Beksinski was actually a very affable man. Sadly he lost his life due to a botched burglary at his home.

Supposingly everyone around him died and in 2005 he was found dead, stabbed like 50 times
