Your best odds to win at gambling is to play ONCE.
All gambling is designed to make the 'house' a profit. They take in 100% and only pay something like 98% back as winnings (or less, obviously).
The longer you play - the more iterations - the closer the result will eventually statistically resemble that 98% goal.

Your best chance to 'beat the odds' and get more OUT than you put IN is one play, then walk away. Instead, spend your money supporting a single mom....at $10/dance.

If you're looking to tilt the odds in any way from the house, learn to play black jack and craps. I say "learn" because to simply play would keep the odds in favor of the house. Learn to play those games well and you stand a much greater chance of winning. Casinos routinely lose money (or take in far less) on those two games than any other, which is why they introduced variations on them that have better house odds and (in the case of blackjack) upped the "shoe" from one deck to multiple (it makes it harder for players to figure out odds of cards remaining). Craps is an exciting game casinos use to draw people to the pits, but they rely on players who have no idea how to guess the odds of which dice combinations will produce wins.
