It's sad that we live in a society where kids have to wear bulletproof backpacks, but it just goes to show, you can never be too safe.

Well, if I a killer like Columbine, this just don't work too much... Just say: drop it and shot or go close and shot. The only cenario it work is when you is running for your life.

IN the Brazil, when that realengo happens, someone say: why not put a guard in the entrance? Well, the killer will just start the killing with this men.. So.. If a crazy men want to die and have a gun, you can't do too much things in schools. Just... Don't create this crazy man..

Don't bully anyone, guys..

Sorry, but thi is complete BS. Bullet proof back packs are NOT common in schools.

Also, you know the best way to stop kids getting shot in schools? Gun control. Simple.

Um, commenter #2: please, let me know when anyone has ever gotten shot in school where guns WEREN'T banned?

Every time there's a shooting, it's where guns are forbidden.
Despite guns allegedly being so dangerous, there has never - never - been a shooting at a gun show, where there are often tens of thousands of firearms.

Notice anything?

What? :06:

Not ONE school district has agreed to endorse these fear-reliant cash-grabs. Those are staged photos from the "bodyguardblankets" website (these things cost $1,000 a pop and will also allegedly "save you from tornado debris"), and are just pricier 'Seen on TV' items like the 'Slap Chop' or the 'WaxVac". I really hope nobody's dumb enough to fall for the "common in schools" headline...

another ass making money off fear with bullshit products and promises. as a parent I know there are a lot of things to worry about but school shootings are way down the list. The best thing a parent can do is not to raise an idiot!

Yes, they're now common - thus why we've NEVER seen one outside of a couple of photos on the internet.

styopa,
You are an idiot. I Googled 'Shooting at a gun show', guess what, HUNDREDS of results. So what if guns are banned in schools, if they're freely available outside that is how the psychopaths who go on sprees inside schools get hold of them. Most school shootings, the guns are legally owned.

Again, Gun Control is how you stop shit like that happening.
