Is this life ? Is this a real life ?
Just what happen with most people anyway ?
What's going on up there my dear God ?
Are You still busy ? Or is it me hard to understand ?
I am listening ...

#10... sorry but I don't see the reason to go through such a traumatic and sad experience for the child. The father is heartbroken of course, but he is going to die soon, and the kid will be left with this sad memory.

I know they are just 'acting out' the wedding, but its just sadness for no real reason. They should enjoy life, go experience new things, jump out of a plane together.

Don't make her cry the day of her wedding because that's all she will remember now.

Do things together that you never did before, not the things you won't be able to do in the future.

sergiofx, it may have been the young girls own distress at knowing her father would never be a part of her own wedding day that made her request it. Who knows.....

When that day finally arrives for her, hopefully she can remember him fondly and perhaps imagine him beside her, in spirit as they say, if not in body.

The world can be a wonderful place, but it carries a price that we all must pay one day, by it's own finite nature.
