Hack #15 - actually go to a reputable institute for photography, study the craft, practice and apply over the years, develop a well thought out style and rationale for your work based on the needs of yourself and your clients and become an actual professional photographer. No seriously - one that actually knows what he/she is doing.

1. Some of us like to get the photo right in camera, not in PS.
2. No, you can't reproduce all those effects in PS. Good luck on making a PS tripod for instance.
