Mandy Stokes and four members of her family spent ten hours chasing down this alligator in Alabama. It weighs over 1,000 pounds and it put up quite the fight.

Why the fuck did they kill it? Did eat a person? Was it a threat to people? Did it cause great destruction to property? Or are they just ignorant redneck assholes who like to kill things?

Well I tell you, MexAndi: When you have a 1,000 alligator keeping you awake at night because you don't which one of your dogs, chickens, cats, or family members will be eaten next, you think about whether or not you want to kill it
....
..
or be killed.

I don't thing it's dead... why tape up its mouth if it were dead? The ice in the back of the pickup is to keep its metabolism down so it would be sluggish when they reached their destination

Here's a rant for all you animal lovers. Alligators have a regulated hunting season just like any other big game in America. If they were not managed and hunted to a certain extent, the population grows to the point that the environment can no longer sustain it. So you see cruel hunters killing defenseless animals, while in actuality, they are doing a service to the animals by helping to maintain a healthy population.

Sorry about the late post, but it's dead. The tape on its snout is just in case they were wrong about it being dead while they moved it.
