And why have we had this sudden fantastic level of development of prosthetics, and elimination of the 'stigma' of prostheses?
Because of WAR. The US 10-year war in Iraq made all of these things happen.
So next time some dope says "War, what is it GOOD for?", you can reply "So people without limbs can live massively better lives?
