Except the Pacific Gyre is in fact little more than a section of sea where the concentration of plastic DUST particles is like, 6 per cubic meter, instead of 1. That's the "great pacific garbage patch"....all those pictures you've seen of piles of plastic trash? Those are lies; most of them are pictures of trash-laden small bodies of water in South America or Southeast Asia.
