They are all so beautiful!

...and please, AC, don't refer to them as "things"...this is where YOU came from just like the rest of us. And I can bet you they were more civilized than the people of 2014.

who believes this shit
if human were actually these things...then why we dont see those things now and we see chimps while they r more evolved version of chimps ...isnt it the survival of the fittest? then i guess the chimps is more fit than these things...and if u think they all evolved to higher beeing untill human..then why chimps didnt evolve too and we still see it now all over the world !

'' If people evolved from apes why are there still apes '' ( That old chestnut )

Humans did not ' Come from or Evolved from Apes. ' Of course we didn't. We are Apes and we shared a common ancestor with all the Apes alive today. There are 4 Great Apes, 3 African Apes - Chimpanzees, Gorillas, Humans and the fouth is from Asia, orangutans. Like all the great apes alive today, they also shared a common ancestor which is now extinct. So they ( Chimps, Gorrilas and orangutans) just like humans weren't always here.

If you follow the human lineage all the back roughly 6 million years ago. You would arrive at the point where we shared a common ancestor with a chimpanzee.

not only did we NOT come from them, but to say we did is to disregard at least TWO other species that would have to make up the chain of evolution...of which there has NEVER been any EVIDENCE of or findings. Species of Ape perhpas, but still no direct link to common man. All still theory without proof...

There is a point to be made that Homo sapiens did not evolve from these species, even with the framework of evolutionary theory. The argument is the same one that says we didn't evolve from apes. These were all lines that came to dead ends. Follow our genetic lineage back and you may find a common ancestor, but we don't have any specimens to show that H. sapiens is directly descended from any of these.

Homo floriensis is a good example. As far as we know, H. floriensis has no extant descendant species. in fact, H. floriensis, if it was an actual separate species, probably evolved later than H. Sapiens, and... wait for it. may have been a species that diverged from H. sapiens!

The closest we come to descent is that we have some unique DNA in common with Neanderthalensis, but that was the intermingling of two contemporary species, not a divergence of one species from another.

#15 takes away any surprise I might have had that our ancestors interbred with Neanderthalensis. She looks a bit Irish, in a pleasing way.

I'm done thinking for the day. I apologize for inflicting my thoughts upon you all, dear A/C reader friends.
