These are not creepy. So called "spirit photographs" have been proven fake. They're just silly.

The long exposure times made the shades appear with any change in the lighting, for the 1920's it was rocket science tho. Very nice post! :12:

maybe back then they may have been creepy, but now, it just looks obviously faked. Almost all are either a head in smoke, or a head in a long cloth... lol..

This really shouldn't be getting downvoted. It doesn't say that they're ghost photos, just creepy, which they definitely are.

They are not 'creepy' they are manipulated! I am old enough to have developed my own real film, this is not hard to do at all....
