This poor dog was left all alone in a trash can.
The dog was in rough shape and in desperate need of some TLC.
The Chief Cruelty Investigator at the Michigan Humane Society said he must have been kept in an extremely small crate for a long amount of time.
Eventually someone just threw the poor dog away.
The workers at the Humane Society gave him the name Edgar.
They nursed him back to health and now he's a happy, healthy dog.
Now Edgar has new owners and they love him very much.
