...or start vaping. I'm 62 years old. Been smoking 2 packs a day for over 40 years. Started vaping last November. Since then I've had no more than a pack of cigarettes total.

I don't go around preaching this. But since this is not face to face I don't mind being on the soapbox for a moment. Otherwise, I wait for people to notice I'm not smoking and when they ask I explain...

Money saved is a great motivator. What I did was climbing steps until there was virtually no more breath in me. Boy, nearly killed me, but it worked.

I don't want to quit.

I like smoking. I've been smoking for the past fifty years, apart from a couple of breaks of a year or so, and I'm fitter and healthier than most people half my age.

Why on earth should I deprive myself of something I enjoy?

I smoke cigars... Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Gretzky, and many top athletes smoke cigars on a regular basis.

Proper cured real tobacco, while I won't say is healthy, is far better you than the brown paper soaked with synthetic nicotine and additives you find in cigarettes. The cut-offs from cigars are used for the $1.00 cigars you see in convenience stores.
