In the same spirit of misdirection that a lot of these must have been written in, here is my own non-predicting prediction. May it be proven wrong.
"There is absolutely no reason for the typical Earth family to try growing their own interstellar spacecraft." (HINT: It's 2014! Spaceship Plants developed from genetically modified watermelons haven't been invented yet, so there's no point in trying to grow one!)
