I noticed there are a lot of pitbulls. I think that for most people pitbulls get to be too much. They need a lot of excercise or they get bored and may get agressive. I used to believe pitbulls were terrifying, but I have changed my mind. My brother brought home a pitbull puppy, had his ears cut, which in my opinion makes them look even scarier. Now the dog is grown up he still looks quite scary, but he is the biggest marshmallow I know. He loves belly rubs, and won't let me go up the stairs without fist getting his fee of ear scratching and chest pats.

Agreed. MexAndi. I have many pitties on my mail route and they are precious. In the early 1900's they were known as nanny dogs. the ones on my route are so loving...they'd crawl in the car and go with me if I'd let them

MexAndi, I've discovered far more tempermental cats than I have tempermental dogs. And yes, I got to know a dog that was a boxer-pitbull mix. Not the easiest dog to walk up to and pet, but I certainly had my laughs at the ones who thought the dog was "vicious".

The ears, and the expression in #3 tells it all.
