now I don't feel so bad sleeping for 10 hrs on the weekends

The first one and third one are not true. The longest documented case of sleep deprivation was 11 days, and was performed by a high school student in 1965 named Randy Gardner.

The third one is based on your circadian rhythm, which CAN be affected by temperature, but that's not to say you can't sleep in a hot room. Any discomfort would result in shoddy sleep.
